Permission to Pause Workshop

Thursday September 20, 2018
7:00 PM until 8:00 PM

Adults and families today are often challenged to find some “quiet time” in the current fast paced, technology oriented society. There are multiple demands on one’s time due to work, family, and community responsibilities. This two part series will provide an opportunity for participants to “pause” in their busy week to review the challenges that get in the way of “quiet time.”

Some simple, specific, strategies such as breathing, imagery, muscle relaxation and mindful movement will be reviewed. These same techniques can assist with a good night's sleep! Give yourself permission to rest and relax, and take home a plan for implementing techniques that are most helpful to you!

A list of resources will be provided to participants.
