Autumn Observations: Fungi, Ferns, and the Forest Floor with Margaret Saylor
In this online workshop for adults, students will begin a sketchbook of observations and fill it with graphite, watercolor, and Micron pen art as they explore a different aspect of the natural world. Botanical art draws together art and science in this time-honored genre. Draw leaves, flowers, fungi, and more and sow the seeds for a lifetime love of drawing and documenting botanical specimens. All experience levels welcome. Class will be conducted via Zoom.
Students are responsible for providing all their own botanical specimens; a sketchbook, preferred is Stillman and Birn Zeta series; an assortment of graphite; black or brown Micron pen(s); watercolor for addition of color if desired.

Location: Zoom
