EventKeeper : Tell a Friend
Raptors of CT

Saturday January 23, 2021
2:00 PM until 3:00 PM

Presented by Joe Attwater, RTP Estuary Center Teacher, Naturalist, Connecticut Audubon Society.

Zoom presentation.

If there is one group of birds that captivates birders and non-birders alike, it's the raptors!  These fierce looking predators roam the skies constantly vigilant for prey.

In this webinar, teacher-naturalist Joe Attwater will teach participants which species you can expect to see in Connecticut, how to identify them, as well as what makes these birds such incredible hunters.

Joe  has a B.S. in Wildlife and Conservation Biology from the University of Rhode Island. During college he assisted with graduate research on migrating songbirds and seabirds. Joe leads many of the Center's bird-related programs and assists in teaching the K-12 education program.  In his spare time, Joe enjoys hiking and birding.

Please email programreg@lymepl.org to register for this program.  The Zoom link will be sent to you a few days before the program.
