Churches issue statement on racial justice | The Church of Scotland

The Lyme Public Library's Racial Equity Book Club will be focusing each month on a book about race relations in the United States. The book group will be meeting via Zoom where we will meet to discuss the book and participate in a fair and open discussion of the subject of race relations.  This is a Zoom presentation.

The Lyme Library is honored to have special guests Erin Kelly and Patsy Rembert appear at the March 1st meeting of the Racial Equity Book Club. Ms. Kelly’s book “Chasing Me to My Grave: An Artist’s Memoir of the Jim Crow South” by Winfred Rembert was the winner of the 2022 Pulitzer Prize for non-fiction. Ms. Patsy Rembert, widow of Mr. Winfred Rembert will speak about Mr. Rembert’s art and life.
