Presented by historical lecturer Michael Jesberger. Washington’s crossing of the Delaware River and The Battle of Trenton is seen as a major turning point in the Revolutionary War. The Continental Army captured most of the Hessian force that was garrisoned in Trenton with only minimal losses to American forces, providing a dramatic victory that boosted the morale of the battered army. This program will include maps, reproduction uniforms and equipment for both the American and Hessian soldiers. Sponsored by the Friends of the Library. Registration required. Call 609-882-3148.
