Introduction to 3D Computer Graphics Workshop
Tuesdays, March 2nd, 9th, 16th and 23rd
Learn how to create 3D computer graphics with local 3D Artist Chris Weaver!
In this four week workshop, you will learn how to do the following with Blender 2.9x:
- Use the unique Blender software interface
- Navigate 3D space in Blender
- Move and arrange objects in 3D
- Model your own 3D creations
- Create materials and textures
- Light and render your 3D work
Blender is a free and open source 3D creation software application that runs on laptop and desktop computers (Windows, MacOS and Linux). While Blender is free, it certainly is no toy. Blender offers features on par with commercial software packages such as Autodesk Maya and 3DS Max and is gaining more and more popularity in the 3D industry all the time!
Classes will meet on Zoom and you'll want to have Blender downloaded to your home computer.
The skills taught in this workshop will build on each other week by week, so please plan to attend all four classes.
This program is for adults, as well as teens ages 13 and up.
