EventKeeper : Tell a Friend
Wonderful World of Mathematics

Thursday February 28, 2019
4:00 PM until 5:00 PM

3rd Graders and up are invited to join us once per month in the Makerspace to explore math in a fun way.

Maddened by memorizing the multiplication tables? Scared of subtraction?  Bored by binomials?  Math doesn't have to be boring, hard, or scary! Come and discover the beauty and wonder of the world of mathematics.  This month, join us in exploring TESSELLATIONS!

Tessellations are found everywhere from the shell of a turtle to the art of M.C. Escher!  Which shapes can cover a plane without leaving gaps or creating overlap? Which shapes can't? How can we make our own shapes that tessellate?  Join us and find out!

Registration is required.
