EventKeeper : Tell a Friend
Tour of a 98 Square Foot Tiny House in the Library Parking Lot!

Thursday July 11, 2019
3:00 PM until 7:00 PM

"Reuse Expert" Alex Eaves, brings his "tiny house"  box truck to the Milton Public Library Parking Lot from 3-7pm today.
Alex will be onsite giving tours and telling us how he created this unique, comfortable, and totally mobile 98 square foot house -- out of a 17 foot box truck!
The house and mobile reuse education center shows us how, with a little more thought and creativity, and the use of readily available materials, interesting reuse opportunities are all around us, and can help our planet too!  This is a much more frugal way of owning a house, and you can even travel at the same time - it is such a cool concept! This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Milton Public Library, and is free and open to the public.
To learn more about the Tiny House process, read Derek "Deek" Diedrickson's book called Micro-living: 40 Innovative Tiny Houses Equipped for Full-Time Living, in 400 Square Feet or Less  (c2018, Storey Publishing.)  The book is available at the Library by placing a hold online at the Library's website, or by calling the Reference Dept. at (617) 698-5757, x. 3.
