EventKeeper : Tell a Friend
Experience Ireland through the Songs, Music, Dance and Comedy of its Greatest Entertainers

Tuesday October 27, 2020
7:00 PM until 8:30 PM

Local Irish historian, music and dance teacher Sean Murphy will give an online presentation designed to "lift your spirits" as we all work towards bringing a speedy and safe transition back to some kind of normality. "Experience Ireland..."  will show you some uplifting pieces featuring some wonderful examples of Irish people keeping their culture and history alive, while displaying their talents.  You will get a mixture of Irish history, music, dance, ancient art, and comedy all blended into a show about Ireland through the ages.

Mr. Murphy teaches through the Irish Cultural Center of NE in Canton, Cape Cod Sons of Erin, Cape Cod Cultural Center, the Cotuit Center for the Arts and at venues on Nantucket. He received several awards for his work as a supporter of the culture and heritage of Ireland.  He also leads a traditional Irish music session in O'Shea's Old Inne in West Dennis.  Sean was born and lived as a child in Dublin and moved to Cape Cod in 2005.  He also plays and teaches the tin whistle.

This program is proudly sponsored by the Friends of the Milton Public Library and is free to the public.  Advance registration is required here; a Zoom connection link will be Emailed to you on the day of the program once you're signed up.   We recommend that you download the Zoom app to your electronic device beforehand.  Please join us for a fun evening of the Irish arts!
