Long-Range & Strategic Planning Roundtable [Agawam]

Long-Range & Strategic Planning Roundtables are opportunities for directors, staff, and trustees to come together and learn how important planning is for library growth and development. The agenda will include a one-hour discussion of the Strategic Planning Model that the MLS is currently using, including the streamlined two-meeting structure, SOAR (an exercise often used with planning committees to identify strengths and opportunities), and a discussion of what should be included in a plan to make it successful and acceptable to the MBLC . The second hour will be an open discussion to allow attendees to share their library’s long-range plans, as well as questions, concerns, and stories.
This roundtable will be facilitated by MLS Advisors Mary King and Deb Hoadley
