Designing the Library Experience [Osterville]

Have you been wondering what usability, user experience and UX is all about? This workshop will go over the basics and show you how capturing the experiences of the library can influence all aspects of how you deliver services. Anna Popp and Deb Hoadley will facilitate exercises using techniques and tools to gather data about how your patrons use your library. We will also how practical applications for using the techniques and methods and how you can turn the information you have collected into results for nearly all library operations, including technology, customer service, advocacy, space planning, fiscal management and strategic planning.
This program is sponsored by CCILA (Cape Cod & Islands Library Association) and is open to ALL libraries. CCILA will also be hosting a lunch at noon prior to this workshop. If you are a CCILA member, lunch is free. If you are not a CCILA member, lunch will be $10. If you plan on attending the lunch, please RSVP to Kathy Mahoney.
