Summer Tanager Art Class: Live Zoom Art Class

Presented by Barbara Freiberg    

Participants will learn how to draw a Summer Tanager bird on a tree branch. They will learn how to use lines, shapes and angels to help complete their drawings. Registrants will need the following supplies, as suggested by Ms. Freiberg:

  • Regular pencil
  • Eraser and ruler/ straightedge
  • 1 piece of white sketch paper or drawing paper (9x12)
  • Assorted colors of thin markers (Crayola Super Tips Washable Markers 50-Pack or similar markers)
  • Black ultra-fine marker or black Crayola marker 

Barbara Freiberg has been teaching art classes for many years. She has instructed classes in New Jersey, New York, Florida and Georgia. Some of her students' artwork has received television and newspaper coverage. She has a studio art degree from Binghamton University. Barbara is a former New York resident and currently lives in Florida with her husband and two daughters.

This session has limited registration. It will be conducted on Zoom and is free of charge. Registration and internet access are required to attend. Register below to receive emailed information on how to access the conversation.
