Evening Book Group
Wednesday March 29, 2017
7:00 PM until 8:30 PM
The Wednesday Evening Book Group will read and discuss We Need to Talk About Kevin by Lionel Shriver. Two years ago, Eva Khatchadourian's son, Kevin, murdered seven of his fellow high-school students, a cafeteria worker, and a popular algebra teacher. Because he was only fifteen at the time of the killings, he received a lenient sentence and is now in a prison for young offenders in upstate New York.Telling the story of Kevin's upbringing, Eva addresses herself to her estranged husband through a series of letters.
And remember to catch up with the Wednesday Evening Book Group online! Check back all month and get the book discussion started early.
The Wednesday evening book group meets the last Wednesday of the month. Refreshments will be provided. No registration is required, and copies of this month's title will be available at the circulation desk.
