Admirals in Collision Virtual Program with Mike Plaskett

Friday November 6, 2020
2:00 PM until 3:00 PM

Join Mike Plaskett, from radio's Rhythm Sweet & Hot, for a discussion on Richard Hough's book, Admirals in Collision, the true, tragic story of the accidental collision of the two British Battleships Camperdown and Victoria. In 1893, in a horrendous SNAFU while maneuvering in perfectly clear weather, the Camperdown steamed into the starboard side of the Victoria, sinking the Victoria. 358 crew members were killed, including the commander of the British Mediterranean Fleet, Vice-Admiral Sir George Tryon.

Listen to Mike Plaskett with co-host Dale Abraham for Rhythm Sweet & Hot on 90.5 FM, WESA, an NPR station, every Saturday from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
