EventKeeper : Tell a Friend
Home Alone, Staying Safe (Ages 9-11)

Tuesday August 20, 2019
9:30 AM until 12:30 PM

Due to very noisy and intrusive construction work happening in the library during the week of August 19-23, we have to cancel this program. Thank you for your understanding.

Are you worried about leaving your child home alone? Then you’ll be interested in this class, which prepares kids (ages 9-11) to handle most home-alone situations, covering topics including basic self-defense, first aid, and common-sense safety.  Presented by South Shore Safety health educators, this dynamic and interactive class is serious business made fun.

The cost is $40; you must register. Also, to secure your registration you’ll need to bring a payment (check or cash) to the Children’s Department by August 15.

Location: Garden Room
