EventKeeper : Tell a Friend
Copper Bookmark Workshop

Wednesday February 21, 2018
2:00 PM until 3:30 PM

Join us for a riveting afternoon of hammering and stamping in the library. We will leave our mark on copper bookmarks with metalsmithing tools and hammers. You can stamp your favorite book quotes, your name, or create unique designs. You’ll learn all about copper and how to create your vision on its surface with various textures and shapes. We will learn how to blacken the surface with an antiquing patina and have it accentuate your patterns. It’s one of the few times we get to be loud in the library, so let’s make some noise and create together! For tweens and teens, grades 5-12.  Online registration (required) begins Wednesday, January 31.

Location: Druker Auditorium
