10:00 AM until 11:00 AM
Mindfulness can help children increase their attention span, focus and concentration, improve memory, better social functioning, self esteem, reduces stress, and can improve relationships with parents. The class helps everyone to experience what mindfulness is and to show caregivers/parents how to use it in their lives in a practical way. In the class we do simple and fun activities to encourage mindfulness and relaxation so that everyone can see it in action. Fun props, such as kindness rock, puppets, chime bells, animal breathing exercises, and friendly wishes heart bell, are used to engage the children in sensory activities and to learn how to be more mindful. For kids ages 3-5 and their adults. Space is limited. Please pick up a ticket at the desk in the children's starting 15 minutes before the program begins.
Location: Druker Auditorium
