Resistance Then and Now: Learning from the Dutch

After discovering that Jews had been hidden in the Amsterdam apartment where she was staying, Mary Fillmore embarked on a 13-year journey during which she did research to re-create their world and their dilemmas. This program will focus on the lessons of the Netherlands under the Nazis through the lens of Ms. Fillmore’s award-winning historical novel, An Address in Amsterdam, about a young Jewish woman who joins the resistance.
