Join author Martin Gitlin takes us through more than 100 years of exciting sports history. His presentation is based on his highly acclaimed book Powerful Moments in Sports: The Most Significant Sporting Events in American History and features videos, including events like the sale of Babe Ruth to the Yankees, Jesse Owens at the 1936 Berlin Olympics, the 1958 NFL Championship Game that brought pro football into prominence, the famed Battle of the Sexes between Billie Jean King and Bobby Rigg, the Magic Johnson-Larry Bird rivalry, and much more.
