community costume swap

The Junior Friends of the Library invite you to our free Community Costume Swap!  Let’s share our resources, and keep the good stuff out of the landfill for a green Halloween!

Here’s how it works:
From October 15-18, drop off your clean, gently used costumes at the library. Then, visit the library on Monday, October 21 from 4:30-7:00 to select a new costume! You do not need to donate a costume to take a new one. Donation guidelines are below.
Please donate:
Clean costumes for ages 0-18 that are gently used or new
Capes, wings, masks, crowns, antennae, etc.
Dance recital costumes
Unopened makeup kits
We cannot accept:
Unwashed or dirty costumes
Costumes that are missing vital parts
Costumes with holes, stains, rips, tears
Culturally insensitive costumes
Costumes with adult themes
Prop guns
Used wigs
Used makeup
Single shoes, single gloves, single socks, etc. (must be a pair)
