Classes will focus on STE(A)M activities. Every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month. Registration required for each session. Class size is 25 students with caregiver. Sign-up sheets will be provided at the circulation desk two weeks in advance. Suggested ages: Elementary students (5 years and up). 

Boats and Buoyancy (March 3rd)

What keeps a boat afloat? Why do some people have trouble floating at all? In this week’s STEAM class, we’ll look into the science of buoyancy. Then, students will hazard their best guesses to see if their science can predict which common, household items will sink or swim in a fun activity.
