Underwater Archaeology presented by the Florida Public Archaeology Network: Summer Program for School Age Children

Archaeologists work in a variety of settings and underwater is one of the “coolest,” literally and figuratively! Learn about how archaeologists work in this alien environment, the types of sites they study (hint: it’s not just shipwrecks!), the issues and problems facing underwater archaeological sites, and the ways underwater archaeologists discover stories from the past!

Virtual Summer Information will be available on the library Facebook pages: Bay County Public Library, Panama City Beach Public Library, Corinne Costin Gibson Memorial Public Library in Port St. Joe, Charles Whitehead Public Library in Wewahitchka, and Liberty County Public Libraries.
