Chef Kerrie Schoenbucher will be preparing some scrumptious items at the Library. Kerrie has been with Atria Aquidneck Place since January of 2016. Her smiling face is hard to find sometimes as she is hidden in the kitchen but, if you do catch a glimpse of her you will see right away that she is a positive light in our community! Of course everyone raves about Kerrie’s fabulous meals and we will have the opportunity to taste some favorites and learn some cooking tips along the way. Recipes include mussels au gratin, littlenecks prepared 2 ways, mussels a la Kerrie with white wine, cilantro, and butter, angel hair pasta and crusty bread for dipping. Wine specially chosen for this class will accompany the samplings.
Kerrie was born and lives in Portsmouth, RI and is a graduate of Portsmouth High School. After school, Kerrie went straight into the work force as a cook in Newport County.
This program is free and open to the public but you must be 21 or over to attend. Seating is limited to 20
