Art Talk with Joshua McHugh
Wednesday December 13, 2017
Join us in the auditorium for an art talk presented by local artist, Joshua McHugh, “Seeing Your Total Wellness of Your Creativity".
Joshua McHugh is a local artist of the Berkshires and is an alumni of Jacob's Pillow and awarded Artist of the Berkshire Art Association. A Pittsfield native, Joshua has taught dance for: Berkshire Albany Ballet; at the Lichtenstein Center for the Arts; and after school programs at Taconic High School and Lanesboro Elementary School. He has also performed in the Men's Dance Festival at BeBe Theater in Asheville, NC, at the Bonnaroo Music Festival in Tennessee and he has taught his program Rise With Rhythm at Jacob's Pillow and Berkshire Community College.
Joshua's talk will encourage attendees to explore art, wellness and one's own surroundings in a fresh way with the hopes of sparking one's own creative process. Joshua will share stories of great masters to help facilitate this discussion. Questions will be taken at the end of the lecture.
