EventKeeper : Tell a Friend
Community Garden Build

Saturday May 19, 2018
3:30 PM until 5:30 PM

Have you ever wanted to build a raised garden bed AND make a difference in your community? Come join us at the Berkshire Athenaeum to construct the Library's very first community garden.

Come learn from our community's farming and gardening experts on how to start a garden of your own by helping us build beds, transplant seedlings, and sow seeds directly in the ground.

The event is free and no registration is required. Please bring shovels and gardening gloves if you have them. We will have some on hand too!

The garden will be used for future Berkshire Seed Library classes and programs. All food grown at the Library will be donated to local food pantries and meal sites.

Rain out date TBD.

Come get your hands dirty with us!! This is a family event for all ages!

Sponsored by the Berkshire Seed Library, Hancock Shaker Village and the Berkshire Athenaeum.
