Memoir Writing Group

The Memoir Writers Group at PPL meets every other Monday from 10am until noon. All levels of ability are welcome, and currently our group includes beginning writers as well as people who have published. Our purpose is to provide a supportive group environment in which we can write about our past, record our remembrances, and better understand our lives. We believe in positive, constructive, and honest feedback that aims to help each person become a better writer. Members are expected to write regularly. An email account is necessary, and a computer is recommended. All submissions are in typed, document format (.pdf, .docx, .doc)  Apple .pages documents are converted to Word, PDF or Google Docs. Supportive feedback implies that we read other people's submissions as well as receive comments on the writer's submission. If this is something that interests you, please contact Linda, below, to see if there are openings and to receive a copy of the guidelines for the group.
