Halloween Story Walk

FREE Halloween Story Walk at Hartsuff Park! 

Due to inclement weather, the Halloween Story Walk till take place on Monday October 19th. Please see below for more information.

The Rockland Youth Commission and the Rockland Memorial Library have teamed up to host a Halloween Story Walk through the woods at Hartsuff Park on Monday October 19th. 

Come enjoy walking through the woods reading a wonderful Halloween themed story.  At the end of the walk you receive a goody bag with a craft you can take home.  

Books for the Story Walk are:

Please note: 

  • You MUST be a Rockland Resident or work for the town. If you work for the town, please call the office to make a reservation. 781-871-1730
  • You must pre-register your child for the program at    www.rocklandrec.org
  • We are only allowing 25 persons to do the walk per half hour.
  • Participants must wear masks during the walk.
  • You will need to stay 6ft apart from other participants.
  • We are limited with the number of participants, so we ask that only one child and one adult attend or one adult with several children.
  • Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • If you are not feeling well or our exhibiting any symptoms of COVID 19, please say home. 
  • If you register for the event and cannot attend, then please let the Youth Commission office know and we will cancel your registration

Times: 10am, 10:30am, 3:00pm, 3:30pm, 4:00pm

Ages: 7th Grade and Under
