Everyone enjoys a good story told with feeling. So plan to visit the historic Shirley Meeting House for “Stories and Tall Tales” on Saturday, October 13 at 7pm with gifted storytellers Mark Jeffreys and Mary Ellen Jones. Mark will perform The Lone Ranger and Tonto Fist Fight in Heaven, by Sherman Alexie, and an original story entitled The Men in Mary B’s Life. Mary Ellen will share legends of the Native American Abenaki tribe, Gluskabi and the Wind Eagle and Gluskabi and the Game Animals.
