EventKeeper : Tell a Friend
Presidential Protection

Tuesday February 26, 2019
2:00 PM until 3:30 PM

The US Secret Service has a tough job as we all know. Moreover, most people do not know what it means to be a Secret Service agent. Join St. John’s University  Adjunct Professors, Howard Ehrlich and Harvey Sackowitz, collectively known as H & H Scholars as they discuss how the agency has evolved over time and what it means to be an agent assigned to the presidential detail. They will present both a current and historic view of the challenges the agents have had over the decades. Finally, Howard and Harvey will discuss some case studies of agents, who were assigned to the presidential detail, and their relationship they had with the first family. Registration begins Monday, February 4th at the Reference Desk.
