Ages 3.5 - 7

Story Time Chess is a curriculum paid for by the library to teach preschool and kindergarten age children the game of chess through silly stories. The stories introduce the pieces through silly stories designed to help children remember how the pieces like to move and how they capture. Each lesson begins with about 5 minutes of review, then 10 minutes of stories and the remainder of time is for play. Each session has 8-10 lessons. 

Beginner level is for true beginners.
