Backyard Growers brings a fun outdoor children's gardening program to the library! Children will plan, plant, water, weed, maintain & harvest a garden at the library all summer in this series of 5 Thursday morning events. Learn about gardening as we share books and stories such as My Garden by Kenin Henkes (and many other great books,) while we explore the process of growing. As we get closer to harvesting, enjoy mini taste tests of the produce leading up to a garden party incorporating what the garden has produced with the care and attention of the group! Register below.
