@GAYLORD: Mindfulness for Kids StorytimeFriday February 15, 2019
10:30 AM until 11:30 AM
Friday mornings at the Gaylord Library, the Children's Room presents a program of stories, poems, songs, and crafts for preschoolers of all ages! This week, we are welcoming guest educator Mariah Freemole for a special Mindfulness for Kids storytime. Join us for a fun hour of reading, dramatization and crafting as we learn ways to calm our bodies and minds. Inspired by Frank Sileo’s book, Bee Still.
Presenter Bio: Mariah Freemole taught Kindergarten, first and second grade the past 12 years in Vermont, where she brought mindfulness practices into her classroom. She is excited to be spreading her skills and knowledge to other areas, as well!
