Tick-Borne Disease-What You Need to Know: Rebecca Young, RN

Chances are that you, or someone you know, has been diagnosed with Lyme or another tick-borne disease. Rebecca Young, RN, BSN, a member of the Medical Advisory Panel of Stony Brook Southampton Hospital’s Regional Tick-Borne Disease Resource Center, will speak about the types of diseases that are carried by different species of ticks, and the symptoms, tests, and treatment options available. Each attendee will receive a tick removal kit.
