QiGong with Gwen Valencis

QiGong (pronounced chee-gong) is an ancient Chinese exercise and healing technique that involves meditation, controlled breathing, and movement exercises. It is meditation-in-motion, clearing the body of energy blocks resulting in physical, mental, and emotional relief.
Based on the fact that QiGong can help reduce stress, lower joint pain, build strength, and stamina, and enhance the immune system, people who can benefit from it most include those with anxiety, muscle aches, learning disabilities, heart disease, fatigue, and older adults that cannot perform intense exercise.
A practitioner since 2007, Gwen Valencis became certified to teach QiGong in 2017 by world renowned QiGong Master, Dr. Aihan Kuhn of Sarasota, FL. As a multi-disciplined athlete, coach, and personal trainer throughout her life, Gwen has grown to honor and respect real health: a presence of flowing energy and an absence of stress, aches, pain, and disease.
Qigong is most popular among middle-aged to older-aged adults. Many practitioners find that it helps them to regain flexibility, strength, and calmness into older age. It might also help increase recovery time from illnesses or traumatic events.
No equipment or mats required, please wear comfortable clothing. Seated modifications are available for comfort.
