K.I.D.S...STORYTIMETuesday November 20, 2018
1:00 PM until 1:45 PM
Kindergarten is where most children learn to read and write. Though some kids can do this before entering kindergarden, it is not required or expected. Being ready for kindergarten means having well-developed preschool skills, and being academically, socially and physicaly ready for the transition. Join us at storytime as we introduce a different skill each week/month.
This is a storytime for ages 2- 5 years. First we will “Shake Out Our Sillies”, then we will sit down to enjoy a book your child should hear before kindergarten. There will be songs, rhymes, movement activities and more. The kids will be introduced to a new yoga pose each week. We will continue to feature a different S.T.E.M. activity each week. This is a great opportunity for your children to discover Science...Technology...Engineering...Math. A craft will be included during this storytime.
This month skill...SHAPES.
Kids will be able to complete a craft to take home with them!
