One of the most inspirational and talented artists in modern history, Michelangelo was an Italian sculptor, painter and architect of the high Renaissance. His output in all three fields was prodigious and some of his works rank among the most famous. This illustrated lecture will concentrate exclusively on Michelangelo’s sculpture works from the beginning of his career to the works made just before his death including his best-known works, The Pieta and his David.
