The Alzheimer’s Association Long Island Chapter offers a monthly support group on the fourth Thursday of the month.  The group is designed to provide emotional, educational and social support for caregivers through regularly scheduled meetings.  Participants will be helped to develop methods and skills to solve problems.  Caregivers are encouraged to maintain their own personal, physical and emotional health as well as optimally caring for the person with dementia.
