Gustav Klimt was an Austrian symbolist painter and one of the most prominent members of the Vienna Secession movement. His primary focus was the female body, but his figurative work includes murals, allegories, and portraits. And then there are his square paintings of the Attersee, Emilie Floege, and the objets d'art based on his works. A tour de force.
