Magic, Trolls, and Skeletons: Music for Halloween

Monday October 28, 2019
6:30 PM until 8:00 PM

It was the Monday before Halloween, and the magical spirits came together to get in the mood with a program of spooky Classical music. On Monday, October 28 at 6:30 pm, come hear music inspired by sorcery, ghosts, death and evil. Included are Night on Bare Mountain by Mussorgsky, The Sorcerer’s Apprentice by Dukas, and many other well- and lesser-known works exploring the scary and foreboding. Hosted by Rob Humberston as part of Storrs Library’s Discovery of Music Series, the evening will be suitable for all ages.

Location: Betty Ann Low Meeting Room
