Sunday Afternoon Talks: High Speed Rail in Japan & China

Sunday October 4, 2020
2:00 PM until 4:00 PM

Commuter advocate Jim Cameron returns to the library to talk about the rapid growth of high speed rail in Japan and China... and why such rail systems will never come to the US.  Why is the US a "third world nation" when it comes to passenger rail?  Cameron will explain and show videos of what is possible in fast trains... in addition to answering your questions about US rail operations, including Metro-North.

Free and open to the public.
