The public is invited to a a free reading of Bridgeport playwright Jack Rushen's new play, "Petey".

Description: Petey, a sixty-year-old bipolar artist, returns home after recuperating from a major breakdown. His re-adjustment with his dysfunctional family is further complicated by the fact he is convinced that he is a reincarnation of Vincent Van Gogh. The family is sure that Petey will conquer this disorder, but will he? Or is this going to be a lifetime burden for everyone? This comedy/drama is about love, family, art, and the beauty of imagination.

"I should one day like to show by my work what such an eccentric, such a nobody, has in his heart.

-----Vincent Van Gogh
