Live Online: Cooking with ColinThursday October 8, 2020
7:00 PM until 8:30 PM
Take your cooking to the next level with Colin!
- October 8 - Whole Food Soups
In this class, we'll be using fresh, whole-food ingredients to make delicious, heart-healthy soups - ditch the cans of soup and learn how much healthier and tastier fresh soups can be! Come learn how to make Fragrant Coconut Soup, Lebanese Red Lentil Soup, and Creamy Tomato Soup.
- November 12 - Healthy for the Holidays (festive meal ideas)
When we celebrate the holidays together with big meals, our traditional dishes are often heavy and leave us too tired to keep celebrating. In this class, we will learn ways to make some of our traditional meals lighter, and some new healthy holiday dishes that are lighter and will give us more energy to keep celebrating!
- December 10 - DIY Healthy Gifts Everyone Will Love to Eat!
Give the gift of health for the holidays with these delicious & decadent desserts - these are gifts your family and friends will love! We’ll be making Peppermint Blizzard Rolls, Orange Chocolate Bites, and more.
These programs will be live-streamed as well as recorded for future viewing. They are made possible by the support of the Friends of the Thomas Crane Library and presented in partnership with the Boston Vegetarian Society.
Since Colin became vegan in 1995, he has been finding new ways to make healthy eating convenient and delicious, especially while raising two boys with healthy appetites. Colin teaches private and public cooking classes throughout New England, sharing his experience and recipes with people who want to incorporate more whole-food, plant-based meals for health, compassion, and the environment.
