Rob Hoffman, owner of Priceless Preservation in Ann Arbor, will discuss the importance of photographic preservation as a means of protecting the historical record, both personal and public. This virtual learning opportunity will focus on how to properly preserve and digitize photographs, slides, home movies, videotapes, and other analog memorabilia.  Hoffman will describe preferred restoration and storage techniques for these objects, how to avoid common mistakes, and how our related mementos can be enhanced.
