Event:
Teen Event: Comic and Manga Art Workshop
Tuesday June 25, 2013
6:00 PM until 7:00 PM
Teens ages 12-18 (grades 6-12) are invited for a
FREE workshop on comics, manga, and cartooning
led by artists and authors Veronica and Andy Fish. There will be an overview of the history of this artistic style, a hands-on drawing demonstration, and plenty of tips and techniques so participants can create their own comics and manga. Andy Fish is the author of several books on art, six graphic novels, and teaches workshops throughout New England.
Registration is required to attend this event, and is limited to
teens ages 12-18 (grades 6-12).
This program is supported in part by a grant from the Braintree Cultural Council a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.
