The FUN Book Club for kids in grade 4 and 5!  The title for April is: "Dave at Night" by Gail Carson Levine. Dave is dumped at an orphange by his stepmother. He's adventurous and wants to know what is beyond the high fence, so he goes exploring at night. A great view of life in the 1920's, which is when the adult novel "The Great Gatsby" takes place. Part of "One Braintree, One Book: The Great Gatsby".

   The kids choose the books to read next. We chat about books we like, have snacks and fun, and usually play a game or get silly!  You can get a copy of the book from our Book Club shelf or reserve a copy from Old Colony Library Network.If you don't have time to finish it, come to Book Club anyway.  All kids in grades 4 and 5 are welcome. We meet one Thursday evening a month, and talk about a different book each month. Held on top floor of library.
