Yoga for Grades 5-8

For the Middle School student who wants to learn the fundamentals of yoga.
These classes will introduce proper alignment, seated stretches, poses for increased flexibility,
standing poses for improved balance, mental focus, and body awareness.
Students will learn yoga poses to help reverse the effects of sitting all day.
They will learn breathing techniques to help calm busy minds, beneficial in
reducing stress and anxiety.
This session runs for 4 weeks. April 6 - April 27
$5 suggested donation per class
Students are encouraged to bring a water bottle and their own yoga mat.
Comfortable clothing highly recommended.
