Local author, Phyllis Calvey, will be reading her book Caterpillar's Search for the Perfect Halloween Costume which is a story for any time of the year. It is about friends helping each other, kindness, and the rewards of patience! Parents will appreciate the playfulness of each character’s costume as seen when Ant decides to be a carpenter, Honeybee chooses to be a queen, and Spider’s mother makes him an octopus costume! It's a timeless story about friendship and transformation. There will be a craft for the children to work on after the story. This will be held outdoors, weather permitting, otherwise it will be held in our Auditorium. Make sure to bring your chairs or a blanket. (Ages 2+.) Storytime outdoors welcomes drop- ins but if it is moved inside, we can only accommodate those who have registered. To keep everyone healthy, we ask that you join our next Storytime should you or your child(ren) feel under the weather or are showing signs of being unwell. Registration is required.
