Tuesday August 11, 2020
3:00 PM until 3:45 PM

Join us Tuesday August 11th @3:00pm-3:45pm for Graphic Novel Chat, virtual book club for those going into grades 6-8. The Graphic Novel Chat will be hosted by a small group of young adult librarians from the South Shore. For August, our pick is One Dead Spy by Nathan Hale.

"Nathan Hale, the author’s historical namesake, was America’s first spy, a Revolutionary War hero who famously said “I only regret that I have but one life to lose for my country” before being hanged by the British. In the Nathan Hale’s Hazardous Tales series, author Nathan Hale channels his namesake to present history’s roughest, toughest, and craziest stories in the graphic novel format."

The event will be held virtually. Event links will be emailed to registered participants the day of. All cameras will be set to OFF for patron privacy. By turning on your camera, you and/or your adult consent to your face being on Zoom. We will not be recording the Zoom sessions. Registration is required -- reserve a spot directly using the blue button above. There is space for to five teens from each library to participate. Once registered, you will receive information on how to attend the event.
