From the Desk of Zoe Washington by Janae Marks

Students in grades 4-6 are invited to join Mrs. Brown for a fun and engaging evening as we read and discuss From the Desk of Zoe Washington. Zoe Washington has a lot going on in her life this summer. She is an enthusiastic baker who wants to compete on the Food Network show Kids Bake Challenge! She’s not speaking to Trevor, her best friend and next-door neighbor. She receives a letter from her father, whom she’s never met, from prison. This summer Zoe has to manage all of that and somehow fix it all!

8th grader, Ellie Parmenter, who has her own small business selling custom decorated cupcakes, will provide a hands on demonstration of her skills!  For students in grades 4-6.  Registration required.

Library books will be available for the children to check out and can be picked up at the library. The digital eBook and audiobook are also available through Overdrive - https://uhls.overdrive.com/uhls-voorheesville/content/search?query=From%20the%20Desk%20of%20Zoe%20Washington

Arrangements will be made for those who register to pick up the book and Take & Make supplies for a fun cupcake decorating activity.

The Zoom link will be emailed to registrants prior to the meeting date.
