Did you know that National Cookie Day is 12/4/21? We will be celebrating one day later since it is always a good time to bake and eat cookies! The Voorheesville Public Library is excited to partner with the educators at the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Albany County to offer families an opportunity to cook together to make a simple skillet dinner and some scrumptious thumbprint cookies for dessert. This program is for FAMILIES with children in grades K-8. Take & Make Bags will be given to each family that registers, which will include a variety of items including most of the supplies for meal preparation. When registering as a FAMILY, please include all names of those who will be attending with the adult's name first and the children's names, separated by a comma, after. For younger children (grades K-3), please make sure that an older sibling or an adult is assisting during the cooking class. Registrants may begin picking up the kits starting Monday, 11/29. You will receive notification via email. Please register. This class will be held virtually via Zoom.
